  Lived with Vivid (previously Sentinel Homes) for 16 months in market rent properties. Clearly a company who are suffering some growing pains following their merging of two prior housing associations.
  
  Rent was priced fairly, they did a good job of getting good bills prices too. Staff (when you're able to get hold of one!) are very friendly.
  
  The property itself was adequate, it suffered from a damp problem which we informed Vivid about on 3 separate occasions, but nothing we ever sorted. Additionally other repairs took months to resolve.
  
  The moving out process was very painful, as it was near impossible to get hold of an actual person, the date and details kept moving, not something we needed at the time. However, I have to concede that when you finally get a member of staff, they are lovely and helpful, management clearly just needs to hire more.
  
  One large concern we had was their data protection regulations, somehow an external contractor had been given my number when they had no repairs whatsoever to do in the property, and attempted to call me regarding repairs at their head office!
  
  Overall as far as landlords go, they were pretty decent, having no fees is great, but their poor communication strategy let them down (not everyone who lives with you is on benefits, so don't send us details suggesting we are!).
